Gripped

...but in the best way

Snow days pt.I

Fraser Taylor March 10, 2018

For a week all we'd hear was "UK gripped by heavy snowfall". Gripped? I was definitely gripped I suppose but not the way they meant it. I Would just sit by the window while editing and watch the snow fall. I got up early every morning. Watching people walk in the middle of the street like there were no rules. I'd get up for sunrises, find excuses to go out and take photos at night. Now the snow has gone it's definitely washed away some magic with it. The blanket of white turned to grey slush pretty much instantly but at least I have a bunch of photos to remember it by.

I walk past this thing so often and never realised it could be remotely interesting. The snow started falling at 6pm on a Tuesday and something in my subconscious told me to go take a photo of it. So I did. shot at 4000iso using non weather sealed lenses so I didn't really think it would come out as well as it did.

Some shots from a super quick shoot with Nicola Matear before my hands froze off.
